Golden 1 Credit Union Opens New Fresno State Branch to Expand Financial Access Across the Fresno Community and San Joaquin Valley

Co-branded with Fresno State Athletics, the new branch provides full-service banking and educational resources to support financial well-being across campus and broader community

FRESNO, Calif., June 23, 2026 – Golden 1 Credit Union (Golden 1) today celebrated the grand opening of its newest branch located next to Fresno State with a ribbon cutting event. The new Fresno State Branch is Golden 1’s fourth branch in Fresno and its first co-branded college location in California. Golden 1’s longstanding partnership with Fresno State Athletics is reflected in branding and signage throughout the location and reinforces the Credit Union’s continued investment in the Fresno community.

In addition to Golden 1’s full range of banking services, the Fresno State Branch also offers free financial coaching and educational resources designed to meet a range of member needs.

The grand opening event featured remarks and attendees from Golden 1 leadership, Fresno State, local nonprofit and community partners, and representatives from federal, state and local elected offices, along with a branch tour and community celebration.

Golden 1’s Fresno State Branch is located at 3046 E. Campus Pointe Dr, Fresno, CA 93710, and is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Additionally, the Credit Union is hosting an open house celebration for Fresno State students, faculty, staff, and community members at the new branch on August 22 from 4 to 6 p.m., featuring free entertainment, food, activities, prizes, and more, as part of its ongoing engagement with Fresno State. Members interested in financial coaching can schedule an appointment at the branch. One-on-one financial coaching will also be available to book online.
